The primary responsibilities of the Sales Analyst are to support the Coty CVS National Account Managers in analyzing past and current business trends, analyzing competitive actions, and mining future sales opportunities to drive business growth with CVS.   

 

THE ROLE 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • STRONGLY PREFER candidate with experience and adeptness in pulling shopper and category insights from CVS ExtraCare Data and extrapolating actionable insights from ExtraCare Data
  • Hands-on and proactive in supporting NAMs beyond day-to-day analytics, i.e. preparing samples for customer meetings, creating and presenting customer-facing presentations, organizing sales support tools with internal Coty partners, etc.
    • Nielsen reporting and insights
    • CMG reporting – CVS proprietary system and insights
    • ExtraCare Reporting – Utilize with great proficiency the system and develop insights from findings.
    • Analytical support and preparation for any CVS category line review.
  • Strong desire to seek out opportunities to optimize and continuously improve reporting processes.
  • Thinks strategically and holistically when gleaning insights from analytical reporting by relating insights back to ongoing business circumstances and problem solving.
  • Maintaining Customer Contact Planning Calendar and Customer Contact Lists
  • Provide support and tracking of Brand Promotional Calendars and CVS.com
  • Support National Account Managers on Trade program analysis and development with a focus on productivity and ROI. 
  • Support analytical requests from CVS          
  • New Fixture Administration
  • Beauty Club Coordination
  • ECRM Support and administration in the portal.     

WHAT YOU’LL BRING 

We’d love to see candidates who have:

Essential: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 1-2 years of business experience in a related field.  Experience with Nielsen, CMG and ExtraCare preferred. 
  • Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and organizational/time management skills. 
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude for problem solving.
  • Proficient in the following systems:  Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access experience.  
  • Additional systems knowledge:  experience with syndicated and panel data (IRI and/or Nielen), space management software (e.g. ProSpace) and ExtraCare desired.
  • Ability to work with data from multiple sources, interpret the data and turn into actionable conclusions                       
  • Desire to work in a strong team environment.
  • Goal orientated and results driven.
