Purpose of Role: To perform management functions within the US Accounting & Reporting / Financial Planning and Analysis processes while supporting various corporate and business initiatives.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide accounting support, guidance and act as liaise to Corporate (HQ) finance controlling teams
  • Manage the preparation and analysis of key financial statement accounts and significant reserves (e.g. Fringe, Pension, Departmental Accruals, Legal/Litigation Accruals)
  • Manage the preparation and consolidation of Corporate deliverables (e.g. Quarterly Analytics, Reporting Pack, Forecast, etc.)
  • Review account reconciliations and journal entries to ensure compliance of US GAAP & Corporate policies
  • Manage the preparation of monthly short-term liquidity forecasts and the annual cash forecast for Coty Inc.
  • Develop and perform monthly trend analysis to help drive expectations in advance of the quarterly reporting periods
  • Support in the development of local policies & procedures, evaluate internal controls and ensure SOX compliance
  • Support internal and external audits by providing audit schedules, support and responding to inquiries
  • Participate in special projects as needed (business integration, system implementations, global harmonization and standardization, working capital improvement initiatives, SOX compliance, other process improvements)
  • Assist in the preparation of various reports and ad-hoc requests for presentation/ distribution to senior management in a timely manner.
  • Perform technical accounting research as needed (US GAAP and the Company’s financial policies)
  • Supervise and develop staff through internal/external training, performance evaluations, etc.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, deal with diverse levels of financial and operating personnel in a multi-national organization and 3rd party external organizations
  • Ability to work independently, under general direction, and create organized work plans and output requirements timely
  • Demonstrate creative thinking and good business judgment
  • Ability to be flexible, multi-task, have strong organizational, communication and leadership skills to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple projects



  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • CPA preferred
  • Strong analytical and technical accounting skills
  • 4-6 years of business experience with combination of public accounting and private industry preferred
  • Strong computer skills particularly in MS Office. Knowledge of SAP and Hyperion a plus.
