An exciting opportunity exist for a Business Analyst in our office in Dubai. Your main role will be using statistical tools and your analytical skills to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets.  

 

As a key contributor of the consolidation of data, the expectation of this role is to be the single source of data in the organization across key accounts in the MEA region. This role also includes working on a range of diverse projects spanning quantitative and qualitative techniques to share and identify useful business insights that highlights challenges and opportunities in short & midterm periods.

Close collaboration is expected with internal teams as well as external stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities includes:
 

  • Analyze market trends (using data panels, retailer files or other available data sources) and monitor business performance.
  • Ensure maintenance of internal software systems to keep them updated all the time.
  • Collaborate with internal Marketing, Trade Marketing, Key Account and Commercial teams to understand business reporting requirements.
  • Contact regularly with distributors/retailers to improve data sharing systems.
  • Create monthly and weekly reports/dashboards and answer ad-hoc questions that would help internal stakeholders to make informed decisions.
  • Support analysis of ad-hoc projects by partnering with various agencies (i.e. Ipsos, Kantar, etc.) and provide meaningful insights that might influence business decisions and strategies in the organization.

 

 

What You will bring

 

  • Min 2 years of experience in the related field.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, capacity to read and interpret data
  • Proficient in SAP
  • Proficient in building dashboards using BI tools such as Power BI, and/or Tableau or any other software.
  • Must understand how to acquire, store, organize, manage data to integrate multiple platforms so that data is accessible to everyone in the organization.
  • Good data-led story telling skills which allows you to influence the business.
  • Ability to think strategically, deal with complexity, work together within a team.
  • Consumer/shopper knowledge and developing marketing data driven stories and recommendations will be a strong advantage.
  • Fluency in English is a must and Arabic is a plus.
