Job description:

The Marketing Manager-QVC (digital) will assist in managing key elements of the philosophy ecomm and digital marketing business on QVC in the US to maximize sales and profitability by developing annual plan for QVC.

 

Specific Accountabilities:

  • Create and manage strategic product assortment for QVC.com and Zulily.com. Work closely with Marketing, Sales and Product Development to identify new opportunities, develop new and exclusive products, configurations, sets and events
  • Partner with the QVC On-Air Manager to maximize all areas of the business and drive long term strategic growth
  • Serve as liaison with QVC and Zulily buying teams and philosophy Planner to coordinate P.O.’s and RTV’s as needed
  • Strategize and manage the digital marketing and social media campaigns with QVC and philosophy to fuel new customer growth and increased revenue
  • Plan strategic sampling and GWP programs within the channels for customer acquisition and customer retention on QVC and Zulily
  • Plan and execute with philosophy.com to promote events through email and homepage exposure
  • Partner with retailer.com and trade marketing on digital marketing calendar
  • Generate monthly reports on our marketing campaign’s performance
  • Assist with creative support for product pages and events including on-air product photography, video assets, digital advertising and promotional materials
  • Help to coordinate with Broadcast team to provide all necessary social media support, live streaming etc.
  • Analyze and communicate competitive trends and performance for beauty and non-beauty brands within the home shopping & event driven ecomm competitive landscape
  • Manages administrative documents specific to the ecomm channels including builds, pricing sheets, POs, links for all social promotions, creative briefs etc.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or Master's degree a plus
  • 5-7 years of digital Marketing or Ecommerce Management experience in the beauty industry
  • Knowledge of the global beauty industry and retail.com landscape
  • Knowledge of QVC and/or HSN
  • Quantitative, analytical and marketing creativity skills needed
  • Ability to think strategically or tactically in different situations
  • Strong work ethic with strong efficiency orientation
  • Must be organized, detail oriented, resourceful, and able to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Ability to work either independently or with cross-functional teams in a fast moving/changing environment
  • Shows initiative to drive results and solve problems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to build, foster, and nurture strong relationships and gain the trust and respect of cross-functional team’s stakeholders
