MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Global Director of Fragrance Regulatory Affairs, assume responsibility for the management and supervision of all activities relating to fragrance regulation. Based in the Center of Excellence (COE) for Fragrance in Versoix, post holder will be responsible for Coty‘s fragrance regulation.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Responsible for all fragrance regulatory affairs globally
  • Set Coty’s regulatory policies and guidelines for all fragrances across all categories.
  • Oversee globally, regulatory activities of any groups involved with fragrances.
  • Lead Country and Regional level fragrance regulatory monitoring for Coty brands.
  • Make impact assessments and communicate with relevant stakeholders for upcoming or possible new regulations.
  • Communicate changes of the local regulations to key internal stakeholders including R&D, safety, and regulatory teams.
  • Manage all activities related to IFRA (and other) amendments and work with local teams and fragrance suppliers to ensure timely execution of surveys and where necessary fragrance modification and approval.
  • Represent Coty at key trade associations and industry groups.
  • Manage a small team of fragrance regulatory affairs professionals.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Scientific degree and a strong science background
  • Significant regulatory affairs experience in a FMCG, beauty company or a supplier
  • Deep understanding of fragrance regulatory
  • Outstanding Interpersonal skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Fluent in English
  • Good leadership skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated and a self-starter
