Position: Global Senior Director Data, Analytics & Measurement

Background:
In a context of a fast shifting digital landscape, the Coty Group has designed an ambitious data driven roadmap positioning media as a strong business enabler.
Part of the Group Media team, under the responsibility of the VP Media & Performance, the candidate will be responsible of building a group Data, Analytics and Measurement roadmap to be deployed within the entire COTY organization. He/She will have under his responsibility AdTech and MarTech standards deployment, Analytics (including Media, Content, Audience & Site), Media efficiency and measurement (including Competitive analysis, Brand Equity tracker, MMM, MTA…) & Data science leading group models development. Thanks to the deployment of standardized process & metrics, he/she will fuel Group management as well as Brand Marketing teams with media performance insights and business outcomes.
This new role at the holding company level is critical to accelerate our data driven media transformation. It requires advanced media analytics and measurement capabilities, high proactivity and strategic vision, as well as a good understanding of AdTech, MarTech, Data and measurement partners ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Data & Measurement point of reference in the Coty organization, interfacing with the different capabilities of the Coty center of expertise (media operations, digital media expertise, content commerce and engagement, direct and indirect ecommerce, CRM and clienteling…) and the brands of the Group, your key responsibilities will be :
- Lead the development and deployment of the Group Data, Analytics and Measurement roadmap
- Lead the group data partnerships as well the group data governance
- Drive the deployment of the AdTech, MarTech Group roadmap in collaboration with the Digital Media Expertise team, the IT team, agencies and selected partners
- Build and drive an InSourced data/analytics team to support brands Tracking & Analytics journeys
- Provide support to the Media Operations team helping them to unlock insights from media activations and value from media negotiations
- Lead the development of clear and concise group media dashboard that will deliver real time group brands performances in an intelligent and digestible manner
- Drive Group Media effectiveness and Measurement initiatives (brand equity research, Marketing Mix Modeling, path contribution analysis, conversion lift, brand lift…) in collaboration with the Media Operations team, Media Expertise team and the Brands teams
- Develop and pilot Data Science and personalization group roadmap
- Provide education around Data, Analytics and Measurement in the Coty organization
Profile:
- A measurement, data & analytics specialist with 15+ years of experience
- Experience in leading a Group data roadmap and with the management of a cross functional team (Data Scientist, Data Analyst, ML Engineer, UX Experts…)
- PHD / Master’s Degree in a top business or engineering school, with good grade point average.
- Expert knowledge of Analytics and Media platforms (Google Marketing Suite & Adobe Experience Suite…) / Experience in deploying a structured company KPI framework
- Experience in building and deploying a company data governance
- Knowledge of the different analytics & measurement approach as well as their implication in the digital /media evaluation process
- Previous experience with the most common measurement solutions/providers available in the marketplace (Nielsen, Analytics Partners, Neustar, Ekimetrics…)
- Proven track record identifying on-going opportunities generating media efficiency and business development
- Experience building customized multi-channel attribution models either internally built or leveraging leading platforms
- Entrepreneurial and proactive, outside-of-the-box thinking and comfortable to work without clear boundaries or guidelines.
- Highly disciplined and rigorous.
- Good project management skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to convey and package technical findings in layman’s terms
- Very good level of English written and orally. French is a plus
