The Team
The Global Transport team provides the centre of expertise for the global Transport network. It sets the strategy, frameworks, guidelines and provides functional expertise in network design across the global supply community and with the logistics community in the regions. It has the responsibility to identify and manage projects that deliver added value to the business in terms of Cost, Performance, Quality, Service, Compliance and sustainability in relation to Transportation and Customs & Trade Compliance. Furthermore the Global Transport team is controlling the global freight budget and provides governance over the Control Tower Operations.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Analytics Manager to join the COTY Global Transport and Customs & Trade Compliance Organization as Global Transport Business Analytics Manager.In this position you will be responsible for providing state of the art analyses in relation to Cost, Performance, Quality, Service and Compliance in order to support Logistics leaders within Coty during improvement projects and managing their budgets. You will be involved in change management processes, tenders and AOP processes and your analyses will support the improvement of daily operations.The successful candidate will develop outstanding reporting capabilities for the Global Transport Team. To this end, the Global Transport Business Analytics Manager will obtain pertinent data from all relevant sources (internal and external) in order to build a compelling reporting structure. The individual is responsible for managing data driven models to support Transport Operations and Transport/DC Network Design. She/he will utilise Control Tower, TMS, SAP, WMS data to develop reports, dashboards, and metrics to provide accurate and timely information. Supporting the supply chain functions in managing the operations and with network analytics for new flows, changes of flows and network optimization. Key relationships in addition to the Global and Regional Transport Teams, will be with the IT community, DCs Transport Coordinators and Leaders as well as the finance, procurement, manufacturing, planning and the COE colleagues.
What you'll do:
Functional responsibilities
- Define target attributes necessary to build and maintain a best in class Business Analytics function supporting the Global Transport operations
- Support the development and implementation of new logistics solutions/concepts, leading to enhanced transport operations on a global scale
- Build a Global Transport Reporting architecture in line with the needs on a global, regional and local scale
- Actively participate in logistical projects & supply chain management improvements from start to finish, like for instance for tenders for air, ocean and road solutions
- Leading the AOP Process for Global Transport. Create overviews, control timelines, track changes, check for errors, coordinate distribution and collection of relevant data between stakeholders in finance, supply chain, and logistics. Act as the single point of contact for AOP process for Transport globally
- Analyze, develop & maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for Logistics Service Providers who provide logistics services (air, road and ocean transportation and Customs brokerage) to Coty and, if required, create reports, queries and presentations which will give Coty Logistics & Supply leaders the required transparency about Delivery & Cost performances
- Train users in the operations and scheduling of reports and encouraging staff to maintain complete databases that can be used for subsequent analysis
Operational responsibilities
- Track Global Transportation KPIs and report the results as well as Transportation Projects in coordination with PMO/PMs
- Evaluate vendor operations (e.g. freight forwarders) according to defined KPI targets
- Develop and implement new data collection and data analysis processes, as well as Global reporting standards in line with the needs of the Global Transport Organization.
- Monitor financial results to determine if they are in line with AOP. Align on a monthly basis with stakeholders in finance, supply chain, and logistics globally, regionally, and locally, to understand and correct deviations from AOP
- Build a simulation model supporting the creation of an accurate outstanding AOP process
- Simulation of cost based on rates projections/forecasts as provided by LSP’s
- Analyzing data and figures supplied by 3rd parties & internal information, and presenting the findings of such analysis (like during RFQ processes)
- Communicate with LSP’s, Factories, DC's, Finance teams and other relevant stakeholders in order to obtain all required information to create State of the Art reporting
- Prepare required data/analyses/presentations for Monthly/Quarterly/Annually Business Reviews with LSP’s
- Recommend improvements to boost performance and reduce costs
- Participate in projects and initiatives across multiple functional areas and regions
What you'll bring:
- Required educational background: B.Sc. degree in Logistics - advanced degree an advantage
- Minimal 5~8 Years of relevant working experience (preferable in Multinational company – preferable experience in Global forwarding company)
- Strong analytical and fact based problem solving skills
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases (ACCESS, etc.) and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
- Excellent skills in EXCEL
- Excellent skills in Powerpoint
- Proven knowledge and experience with Transportation Management IT systems, Warehouse Management Systems and Customs & Trade Compliance systems
- In depth knowledge of key supply chain/logistics/transportation processes and current best practices
- Excellent communication skills to present the results of her/his data analysis and promote ideas
- Strong team player - able to effectively and proactively act in a complex matrix organization

- Ability to visualize his/her thoughts in an adequate way (enabling her/him to bring message across to Senior Management audience – Executive reporting)
- Fluent in English, another language is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
