The position belongs in the Marketing Department with focus on Retail Experience. The Education Manager role is primarily played in daily synergy with the Local Retail Experience & Education Manager, Marketing team, and sales organization supporting all LATAM regions. All actions are coordinated to link to the final consumer experience in-store.

The  Education Manager is responsible for the following:


  • Achieve a relevant, complete, and upgraded Retail Experience for COTY’s luxury brands portfolio for the three-axis: Fragrance, Makeup, and Skincare, in various distribution channels, with an absolute focus on the final customer.
  • Achieve a significant improvement of Sales results, Brand awareness and Global influence.



  • Lead the design from conception to execution of all educational content client experience, product knowledge) such as brand launches, master brands, KCP’s, etc.; in collaboration with the Marketing Teams and Global Education counterparts.  
  • Extend experience and expertise In-store: creation and implementation of Selling Ceremony, Selling Skills and Retailtainment techniques.
  • Animate: Brand-specific retailtainment, Event content for Make-up and Skincare brands. Plan & execute effective artistry seminars.
  • Manage the creation and localization of all Education Toolkits such as education decks, training event, one-pagers, E-learning modules, tutorial videos, face charts, etc.
  • Develop, motivate & coach local trainers. Transmit and train: Field training
  • Digital learning/ BA App: WeLIVEBeauty App management including data analysis
  • Oversee budget, delivery, deadlines and implementation of all training assets; and constant optimization of work tools, processes and communication




  • A lean approach to coordination with a Retail-minded and Consumer-centric approach to projects
  • Focus on transversal ways of working within the Global Education team, Regional Marketing team, and local Commercial – Marketing - Education teams.
  • Focus on customer experience, with Marketing, with all support services, and triangulation with Local Merchandising teams
  • Focus on optimization: Aligned Education and Retail deck structure, Prioritization (aligned w/ Marketing and Trade), Alignment with Local Merchandising
  • In a highly competitive environment like Luxury Beauty, flexibility and ability to make quick adaptations in order to stay on track with the agreed retro-planning are key for the role.


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ work experience in prestige cosmetics Sales and Education (the three-axis: Fragrance, Makeup and Skincare)
  • University graduate/ Business School degree
  • Excellent communicator in English and Spanish – both verbal & written, Portuguese is a plus.
