National Account Manager

This role will be representing Rimmel London cosmetics and our Consumer Beauty Fragrance brands.  The role will be responsible for the Walgreens account, reporting to the Director of Sales.

 

The role will work closely with our Chicago based sales office including analytics, finance and CPFR.  The role will have direct selling & account management responsibilities and will also partner with our Trade Marketing, Wall Strategy & Brand teams to develop selling initiatives.

 

THE ROLE

Strategic management of the business at Walgreens with the goal of establishing Coty as the market leader in sales and service.  Working from the Walgreens team office located near O’Hare International Airport, this person will lead the identification, development, and execution of strategies to deliver key volume drivers for Cotys line of Rimmel, Fragrance & Airspun products.

 

The ideal candidate will be expected to create the strategic vision as well as manage the tactical implementation, in all facets, with regards to the brands managed.  Joint Business Planning, Line Reviews, Promotional Execution, Financial Management, Business Analysis, Forecasting, Trade Spend Management and Strategic Relationship Building. Coty participates extensively in the JBP process and conducts frequent meetings with Walgreens.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and execution of all presentations at Walgreens for the entire portfolio of products.   
  • Leading the strategy, tactics, and execution in all JBP activities.
  • Management of short-term and long-term business results, including innovative changes aimed at broad financial impact.
  • Delivering upon volume, share and  ROI targets
  • Driving distribution, shelving, pricing, and promotion support to optimize spend.
  • Identification and activation of fact based sales opportunities.
  • Accurately forecast the business and proactively alerting HQ of major shifts in the business.
  • Managing promotional funds to effectively drive the business.
  • P&L management.
  • JBP & QBR presentation lead for the team
  • Cosmetics Wall Strategy process tactical planning & execution
  • Fragrance Holiday development, strategy & sell-in

Nielsen, IRI and RSi analytics & insights-based sellingWHAT YOU’LL BRING

We’d love to see candidates who have:

  • 3-5 Years in CPG, Beauty preferred
  • 2-3 Drug selling experience, Walgreens preferred
  • Direct selling & account management experience
  • Bachelor degree

Desirable:

  • Forecasting, business planning, trade spend management
  • Competency is Nielsen / syndicated, Loyalty & RSi or comparable databases
