The role:

Ensure the accounts receivable ledgers are efficiently and effectively maintained to achieve the DSO and ageing targets as prescribed in plan and in accordance with company policy and procedures.

Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, you will:

  • Manage collection and focus on debt and overdue reduction
  • Manage and reconcile allocated customer ledger accounts (trading and claim)
  • Assist with bank reconciliations as required
  • Manage and process customer claims, including customer discount, trade spend and volume rebate claims
  • Undertake all general administrative duties associated with monitoring customer accounts
  • Undertake credit checks on all new customer account applications
  • Manage and review credit limits
  • Management of order releases

You will have:

  • At least 2 years’ work experience in similar role in FMCG company
  • PC skills: MS Office package (Excel advanced); SAP (ideally, advanced level)
  • Ability to use analytical thinking and logic to isolate and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Able to handle & prioritise task and workload
  • “Can do” attitude and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level attention to detail
