Coty welcomes Kara Langan as General Manager, Consumer Beauty U.S., following the earlier appointment of Vanessa Kidd as EVP, Lifestyle Scenting Global Brands & New Product Development

NEW YORK, 1 October 2026 – Coty Inc. today announced the appointment of Kara Langan as General Manager, Consumer Beauty U.S., marking another significant step in strengthening the company's Consumer Beauty leadership team and accelerating growth in one of its most important markets.

Kara will join Coty on October 13 and be based in New York. Her appointment follows the recent arrival of Vanessa Kidd as EVP, Lifestyle Scenting Global Brands and NPD.

"Kara and Vanessa are proven leaders with outstanding track records of transforming brands, driving growth, and building high-performing teams," said Gordon von Bretten, President, Consumer Beauty, Coty. "Their appointments reflect the momentum we are building across Consumer Beauty and our ability to attract top industry talent. As we continue to execute our strategy and invest behind our brands, these leaders bring the expertise and perspectives needed to strengthen our business and unlock future growth."

As General Manager, Consumer Beauty U.S., Kara will lead Coty's Consumer Beauty business across the U.S., overseeing commercial strategy, innovation, and brand performance across the portfolio. She will report to Amaury De Vallois, Executive Vice President, UUCAN, with a dotted-line reporting relationship to Gordon von Bretten.

Kara brings more than 20 years of experience leading iconic consumer brands across beauty categories including fragrance, color cosmetics, skincare, hair care, and personal care. Most recently, she served as Chief Marketing Officer of Face and Skincare at Evermark, where she led marketing for a portfolio of heritage beauty brands and accelerated their relevance with new generations of consumers through creator, influencer, and social commerce strategies.

Prior to Evermark, Kara held senior leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson Consumer, including serving as Global President of Vogue International, the hair care business behind OGX, where she successfully returned the business to growth. Earlier in her career, she held leadership positions at Elizabeth Arden and Revlon, helping drive brand transformation and growth across fragrance, skincare, and makeup.

Earlier this year, Coty welcomed Vanessa Kidd as EVP, Lifestyle Scenting Global Brands and New Product Development, reporting to Gordon von Bretten. With more than 25 years of experience across fragrance, color cosmetics, and personal care, Vanessa now leads Coty's global Lifestyle Scenting business within Consumer Beauty and plays a key role in advancing the company's Future of Scenting strategy.

These appointments reflect Coty's continued focus on investing in talent and building the capabilities needed to support sustainable growth across its Consumer Beauty portfolio.
