As a global leader in beauty, we recognize our responsibility to take action to preserve our planet. Coty discloses its climate change impact annually though CDP, a charity that runs the leading global environmental disclosure platform.
Coty received a B score in the CDP 2023 climate change disclosure, recognizing our actions to reduce our climate impact.
While there is more, we can and will do, we are proud of the strides we have taken over the last year. In our FY23 Sustainability Report we shared that Coty exceeded our science-based scope 1 and 2 emissions reduction targets for 2030, achieving an impressive 82% reduction. Coty also overachieved targets on energy reduction, while our factories and distribution centers sent zero waste to landfill and surpassed our 80% recycling rate target. Looking ahead, Coty also announced its commitment to set long-term emissions reduction targets in line with science-based net-zero (by November 2025).
